Lauren Eddington, PNP
Lauren is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in Pediatrics in the acute and primary care setting. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor which allows her to support new mom's through those difficult first few months of life. Lauren is a wife and mom to three children allowing her to understand pediatric healthcare from both sides, as a provider and a parent.
She opened Forney Pediatrics in 2024 because she wanted the opportunity to care for families and build relationships within her community. Her goal is to provide compassionate care and allow parents to feel heard, informed, and confident in the care their children are receiving.
ElAnn Barnes, FNP-C
ElAnn is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience. She has worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings, but pediatrics has always been where her heart is. After becoming a parent herself, ElAnn's passion for pediatrics has grown even stronger as she cares for her own children. She values health and wellness and looks forward to continuing to provide excellent, compassionate care to children and their families. ElAnn is married to a first responder, and together they have four children - three boys and one girl, all age 6 and under. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching and playing sports.
Louis Hunke, MD
A board certified Pediatrician in the acute and primary care setting
While Louis is taking more of a ancillary role, after serving more than 40 years as a lead provider, he is most excited about partnering with Forney Pediatrics and helping them become the preferred place to care for children in Forney
